Přemysl Kšica (organist) attended the Music Conservatory in Prague, graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague under the guidance of prof. Josef Popelka and studied at Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Stuttgart (Prof. Dr. Ludger Lohmann).
He also studied organ improvisation with prof. Jaroslav Vodrážka, doc. Jaroslav Tůma and Johannes Mayr.
He is holder of many awards from different organ competitions and repeatedly won prices for improvisatin at organ competitions in Opava. In 2004 won 3rd price at the International Organ Competition in Ljubljana (Slovinia), in 2005 in Most (CZE) and in 2010 won 2nd price at the Petr Eben International Competition in Opava.
He is currently as an orgnist in St. Nicolas Church in Prague – Lesser Town. He is an organ teacher at Church-Music School in Prague and Music Conservatory in Teplice.
He gives performances on a regular bases in the Czech Republic and abroad as a soloist and also colaborates often with vocal-instrumental ensembles such as The Kühn Choir of Prague, Prague Cathedral Choir, Prague Philhamonic Choir etc.
